Sheldon School Endowment Scholarship Formed

The Sheldon Public School closed it's doors to students on May 24, 2007. At this time the Sheldon Public School District #2 Scholarship was established. The endowment scholarship will be administered by the Enderlin Dollars for Scholars program and will be gifted to candidates who have attended the Sheldon School District while it was in existence. After the time there are no longer students who have attended the Sheldon School, the scholarship will be awarded to students who currently live in the Sheldon District #2 as it was when the Sheldon School did exist. Initial funds for the scholarship will be derived from the budget of the Sheldon School District after the school closes at the end of May, 2007.
